David Tashjian
Founder, Tippy
David Tashjian is a venture capitalist and investor with roots in the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business. His career spanned 25 years on Wall Street, culminating in his serving as General Partner, CEO of Global Capital Markets, and on the Board of a $3 billion global Investment Bank.
In 2007 David retired and entered the venture capital business, successfully focusing on companies in the Financial Technology space. In 2015, David Co-founded DirectTIPS and its flagship app, Tippy, pioneering the first and still the top modern digital tipping platform built specifically for the beauty industry.
David is now focused on bringing financial wellness to both salon and spa owners and their staff.
